How long have you been in business?
The Sanborn family has been in business in Hampton for 25 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We off a wide array of fine homemade chocolates, fudges, sugar free chocolates, mints, caramel corns. We are proud to say we are a NH made company.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Billie (Sanborn) Cooper has been in the candy manufacturing business all her life. Husband Bob and she currently operate the manufacturing and retail store in Hampton and Hampton Beach (summer only).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer a wide selection of freshly made candies and are proud to say without preservatives. We also manufacture on site and offer personalized service to customers in need of that extra service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently own and operate two locations. A year round location at 293 Lafayette Rd in Hampton and a seasonal location on Hampton Beach at 153 Ocean Blvd. Currently we do not have any plans to expand.

We are located 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Route 101 and Route 1 in Hampton.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Amex, Visa, MasterCard & Discover. We also accept checks within a 30 radius and of course cash.
Which areas do you service?
Because we offer online purchasing through our website (www.sanbornscandies.com) we are not limited by any boundaries. Our customer base is international.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Robert C. Cooper & Billie (Sanborn) Cooper are the owners.
Caren McAskill is the Manager and is ably supported by Jan Howard and several part time employees.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are 10-6 Sunday - Tuesday, 10-8 Wednesday - Sat. These hours fluctuate somewhat based on the holiday seasons.
